I plan on making some gameplay content and I was wondering does more storage matter meaning more than one hardrive? Like would having more hard drives and configuring them in raid be faster when it comes to editing and exporting? Should I go with high storage HDD like 5TB+ or SSDs say at like 1TB?

only RAID 0 will increase write speeds, if you need lots of storage space to store content than a larger HDD is better.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

Most of the things i have done with editing i have done on the main SSD and then saved to the HDD's as it is cheaper to get a bunch of HDD's and one 1-2Tb SSD as your main than say 10+Tb of SSD's

depends really how long it goes for, here is an example of content i have created and i use a 500Gb SSD and then a bunch of HDD's

(most is either 720p or 1080p as i have not done much with my xbox one x and use my s for gaming) and it usually only uses 100 - 200Mb of space per clip (takes 10-15ish clips to make one of these videos) and exported are around 2 or 3Gb depending on the length

For most of the things you do, you could deal with a 1tb or 500gb ssd to do most of your recording and gaming on. Then you can export the data to your hard drives, which would take space off of your ssd. The amount of space you need depends on your recording scheldule, resolution, and how much money to spend. I would pick up a few Western Digital Blues, although there are more faster hdds available.

I suppose I like a chairs a little too much.
