Fixing LED adapter

Hello!

So I bought a LED strip and the adapter for the power to the led doesn't work.

I mean, it works, but when I plug the psu in the adapter, I have to fiddle around with it and move it in an certian way for the LEDs to work.

This is very hard because I have to put in A LOT of force pushing it down (that's the way I have to move it in order to get the lights working) really annoying.

I would buy a new adapter, but I don't know how is that going to work and the LED remote it self is almost 9 euro here even tho I bought the LED strips, adapter, PSU and remote for 10 euro.

So I'm just asking if there is an way I can fix it.
