Question about my GPU and thermal paste

I re-pasted GTX 1080 armor OC 8gb today with Arctic Silver 5 and after 2 hours of play (roughly 3 after re paste) i found out my temps were worse on Overwatch by like 5 degres or so from an average of 60c to 65c-66c. I Read some articles on it, is it possible my tim needs to “cure” first? Please let me know of any possible ways this may have happened.

Interesting that you chose an electrically conductive paste to use on the GPU.

On a gpu die it is way more important to cover the full die than with a cpu, that is why you normally would use a shit ton of non conductive paste and just let the paste spill over the edge of the die while tightening the cooler

Did you spread it thinly? 

AS5 need pretty long curing time.

AS5 can be conductive, i wouldn't recommend to use it on GPU.

I checked online and it said it was non conductive, did i miss something!

Im confused, AS5 is listed as 100% non conductive on amazon.
