I have been using Gmail ever since it came out and I can safely say they have done jack shit for years. It looked and was pretty much identical to what it is today all those years back. I remember it was so cool because they added themes

It kept bundling shit weirdly and the UI was the epitome of wasted space. The default Sony Xperia email client and Thunderbird are fantastic, as they both do the intended purpose without trying to be a life coach hooked on cocaine.

frankly i didnt even know inbox existed until recently lol... ive used gmail for years and got no issues with it... it has mail and filters... what more do you need?

i tohught the same. but, once you use inbox (even for a week), you cant go back. bundles has changed the was I use email.

Spark for Android, an incredibly popular iOS email app, literally came out today. It bundles emails very similarly to Inbox, and is comparable to Gmail in terms of features. Readdle also announced that they will be releasing a web and Windows client.

I already started using it a few hours back. its not inbox, but miles ahed of gmail. thanks anyway.
