is It for a intel system or and system ?

if it’s for amd I’d suggest ram rated at at least  3000mhz.

if intel any kit here will do

It is very beneficiary for ryzen to have high speed rated ram. Maybe you could find a 2933 kit or something closer to there

You are looking to pay the same as it would cost to get double the ram.

Here is a set of 16gb ready for ryzen

G.Skill - Flare X 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2400

‘Ready for ryzen’ is marketing bullshit nowadays.

secondly, ryzen prefers having fast ram. (3000mhz+).

Well I would suggest saving up a few hundred bucks more mate, just to give you some more wiggle room and that’s you don’t need to give in everywhere. I’m not sure if you can stretch your budget or if you could wait?

Good idea.

Throw together a list of things you want and hunt for deals.

Buying parts over time makes it much more bareable

As I mentioned before, one of my suggestions. As I’m aware how highly components are (can be) priced in Australia you’d benefit from it in the longer run. I’d save up at least aud$1k if possible for you
