ASUS got hacked and could I be target with just 2 ASUS components

Hello so I was away for like 5-7 days and I just came home and read that ASUS was hacked and something like that you know what it is probably. I read it from here https://old.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/b5ebgr/hackers_hijacked_asus_software_updates_to_install/

 

I just wanna know if I am safe because I have ASUS 2060 Graphics card and a asus b360m-k prime motherboard.

I have a desktop

I don't have this LiveUpdate thing when I search on the search bar I can't find any ASUS programs

I bought my desktop from a Gaming Company late february

While all of this was happening my PC was completely unplugged.

The problem was with the Asus Live Update software. If you had this installed, then yes, you could have been affected. If you don't have the Live update software installed, you were not affected.
