Hi guys, after reviewing all the feedback I got yesterday on here I went out and bought a Vega 56 here's the link if anyone wants to see the model.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
Type Item Price
Other ASRock Phantom Gaming X Radeon RX VEGA 56 8GB Graphics Card £259.97 @ Ebuyer
  Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts
  Total £259.97
  Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-03-29 10:06 GMT+0000

 I know I should under volt it but I was wondering if its necessary, thermals shouldn't be an issue the case I'm using has more than enough airflow and  i changed my PSU from a corsiar vs650w to EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 750 W 80+ Gold. Other than thermals does under volting help increase the lifespan of the card, does it void warranty?

With this card you'll want to undervolt it because thermals on a reference design card are never great.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

The main reason to under-volt a Vega card is to make up the absurdly bad thermals it has specially on blower coolers.

There's absolutely no negative consequences to under-volting it, but you'll have to go through a bit of trial and error to find the best settings it'll run stable at, there's plenty of tutorial videos in YouTube.

I see, I will most likely start watercooling my whole system once I get one of these 2 cases;

 https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/gmJkcf/phanteks-eclipse-p400s-tempered-glass-atx-mid-tower-case-ph-ec416pstg_wt or https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/QjWfrH/corsair-carbide-series-275r-white-wtempered-glass-atx-mid-tower-case-cc-9011133-ww

I would be using Ek- water cooling kit for both GPU and CPU  https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-a240g-fluid-gaming-performance-water-cooling-kit-wc-9ex-ek.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwhPfkBRD0ARIsAAcYycEb_qsRPaYB2I4pdMWOTE9Gwsgd8bKOINKP5bi5siTTta5e_nOUSngaAkiCEALw_wcB

I will get a proper water block for the GPU but this should give me much better thermals. All in all I will end up under-volting the card as I've seen some pretty impressive gains in thermals and performance from this.
