Very small and short question, I bought the H100i pro, and some noctua NT-H1 thermal compound. Thing is there's allready some thermal compound on the heatsink, should I use the one supplied by corsair or wipe it clean with alcool and use the noctua one!?

Just wipe the pre applied paste off, since you already have a potentially better paste on hand. Alternatively try install the cooler with the pre applied stuff to know how to do it and what will the spread on the CPU be before cleaning things off

The preapplied paste is good. You can just use it and replace the paste when needed.

Thank you very much WoodenMarker for your answers on both posts! Actually found a youtube video of someone benchmarking both products I have, preapplied paste was 2 celsius lower than NT-H1! Never seen any recommandation on thermal compound durability!

NT-H1 should last for at least 3 years at room temp and on the cpu for 5 years or more. https://noctua.at/en/nt-h1-3-5g

You can expect most pastes to last a few years and to worsen gradually over time. I recommend replacing the thermal paste when temps are no longer satisfactory.
