Budget Recommendations?

Ok, so I don't plan on water cooling, and I am getting a 2060. I just bought a 650w corsair bronze PSU (semi-modular). I was just wondering if there were any good cases for (max) $80 USD with a tempered glass side panel?

that's why I'm here, to share opinions with others. most cases hover around a 4-star rating on pcpartpicker, I just wanted to hear some opinions from the forum, from people far more pc knowledgeable than me.

Keep an eye out for the Fractal Design Meshify C TG if you come into a few more dollars. Sometimes it drops to around $87, especially the white version.

When the Sharkoon TG5 is in stock in the US it's nice.

Case is about storing your components safely and providing them with optimal conditions to work with.

Cases that are all about looks tend to suck donkey balls

How "unsafe" can a case be??

its not supposed to crash into anything~ see how weak those tempered glass are.

How unsafe can a case be? Open air cases for example, as your pet is more than welcome to walk and pee all over it..

Let's say you get a case with totally choked front panel, your video card gets hot, dumps all the hot air on PSU, PC shuts down. 

Don't believe me? Look up a topic that was made a while ago where someone was running into PC shutdowns (if I remember right) because his PSU was completely choked for air and had to shut itself down to prevent damage. Imagine what would have happened if PSU didn't have OTP?

For your budget, I'd take a look at either the Corsair 275R or Spec-06.  Same features across the board for both; PSU shroud, good amount of radiator support, vertical mount GPU.  Styling would be more of a personal preference.  Let me know if you have questions about either case.

That Spec-06 looks spicy, but I have zero experience with RGB. I'm sure it won't be a huge learning curve, but I'll definitely look into it.

For the Spec-06, it's really easy to control.  There is a controller that comes installed with pre-defined profiles you can cycle through.  More advanced RGB integration would be the Spec-Omega where you can control it with the iCUE software.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll think about what case I should get. A lot of good suggestions today from the forum!
