Hello. I have a quick question. Right now I am planning on buying a rear case fan. Here are the two options I really like:

be quiet! Pure Wings 2 PWM and

Corsair SP120 RED LED 3-pin.

I would like red LEDs, but the be quiet has a 4-pin connector. Also, the Corsair one is faster, so what should I choose?

In my experience, the Corsair SP120's aren't that good. I have 3 of them, and only one of them has their rated CFM.

PWM is far superior to 3-pin as well, I always go for fans with 4-pin.

Thanks! Maybe you know any other good 120mm fans that are reasonably priced?

The Arctic F12 PWMs are roughly $10 on Amazon, I've been liking them as of late.

I can't say anything about them, good or bad, but the Corsair AF120 Red's are made for case fan placement, but are not PWM. You can still control the speed with voltage, however, just not quite as low, usually. I wouldn't worry about maximum RPM, you usually won't want that due to the noise.

You're welcome. Again I don't know much about them, but you may want to research the Cooler Master Sickleflow and Jetflo and the Thermaltake Riing, all of which are popular. Generally, though, the fans without LEDs like the be Quiet's are better quality.

Where are you shopping / located? Budget?

What case are you using and what are you looking for in a fan?

I live in Lithuania. My budget is ~15€. I bought my PC pre-built, that’s why the case isn’t that good. It’s the Havana 535i. My pre-build only came with a front fan and right now I want to have a better airflow. So I am looking for something fast, but not loud.

Sorry for the late reply -- this was buried under some other tabs.

If you want a quiet exhaust fan, it's hard to beat the NF-S12B: https://www.1a.lt/kompiuteriu_komponentai_tinklo_produktai/korpusas_ir_ausinimas/ausintuvai/noctua_nfs12b_redux1200_pwm

If you don't want to spend as much, Slipstreams provide more airflow than PW2's but are not as quiet: https://www.1a.lt/kompiuteriu_komponentai_tinklo_produktai/korpusas_ir_ausinimas/ausintuvai/scythe_fan_slip_stream_pwm_120mm_1300rpm

If you need something red, Magma Advance are good albeit not as quiet as the other two or PW2's: https://www.1a.lt/kompiuteriu_komponentai_tinklo_produktai/korpusas_ir_ausinimas/ausintuvai/enermax_magma_advance_120mm_ucmaa12a
