Problem dual booting windows and kali Linux

Hey I have been trying to dual boot kali with windows 7 and keep getting to the install part were it says dectet network hard ware and then stops please help I really want to get it working thanks

When I used to dual boot I installed windows on my hard drive first, then when I was up and running shrink the partition and install linux on the remaining space

I can't find the shrink partition I right click on the hard drive and then I have copy and all that stuff but no shrink partition I have a lot of space free

Go to partition editor or create and format disk partitions

IF you are using windows 7 then hit windows and search for partitions, otherwise I don't know, I'm sure google will know

okay I have open up disk manger and I have 80gbs of free space but when I go to make a partion it only says that I have 824mbs to partion

Right click on your windows partitions and click shrink
