Virtualization on MSI B450?

And like the others before me. Registered just to say how awesome you are for finding that and saving us all time. I never even would've thought to look under overclocking.

I (finally) got my Ryzen setup complete about a week ago, rocking an R5 2600x on an MSI B450 mobo.

I've been trying to set up an Ubuntu VM on my machine using VirtualBox. However, I keep getting an error that "AMD-V" is not enabled (I assume that means virtualization in general is not enabled in my BIOS). So I took to the Google to try to find out how to enable it. But. The answers I found either 1: didn't answer the question of "how to enable virtualization on MSI B450", or 2: were for a different motherboard entirely.

So. Does anybody here know where in the BIOS on an MSI B450 I can enable virtualization? And does this board even support virtualization?

Two years of IT experience. But at the end of the day: I dunno, I just work here Dave.

It's not labeled as virtualization or AMD-V in the BIOS (at least on my Asus B350 board). I forget what it's called, and can't check right now. I remember that I had to look at the descriptions of all the options in the CPU section to fine one described as "enables CPU virtualization"

All modern boards support virtualization, even horrible crap-budget ones. The option is there somewhere, just gotta look more carefully for it. If you can find screenshots of all the BIOS-settings, I can point it out for you.

Instrucciones a continuación

- Arranque en Bios usando la tecla "Eliminar"

- Seleccione "Overclocking"

- Vaya al "Modo de exploración de OC" y conviértalo en "Experto"

- Desplácese hacia abajo hasta "Funciones de la CPU"

-Seleccione "Modo SVM" y "Habilitar"

-Guardar y Salir

Aaannnddd ¡Presto! ¡Virtualización activada! ¡Boop!

Vengo a dejar mis humildes gracias al igual que todos, me evitaste un gran caos🙌🏾
