Black screen white dash windows 7

So my girlfriend is at a big presentation and her computer upon opening up from hibernate has a black screen with a white dash in the top left corner. She's running windows 7 pro OA and is on a dell latitude e6230. We've tried so many different f keys and disconnecting the battery. Any help appreciated. Thanks guys.

I have that laptop. Good daily driver.

1. try to get to the boot screen in the bios (i guess) so when you turn it on, just hit F12, then select boot from HDD

2. Windows done fukd up

Not sure about you but I think my 7 year old CPU still rips
