Any way to do 2 pc streaming without a capture card?

Is there any way to do dual PC streaming without a capture card or using NDI. Like using a direct ethernet link between the 2 PC's? Without buying anything that is.

Such a setup would defeat the advantage of using two pc. In a dual pc setup the output of the gpu is sent directly to the second pc, i.e. it does not have to use any of the originating system PCIe, cpu, or chipset resources.
