Advice on what to do about xb271hu scam/ recommendation for replacement.

KING OF THE DIRTY DANS

I bought a xb271hu from Acer's site a while back and it came damaged.

It came with a screen blemish that is purple on dark screens, right in your FOV

This spot is unbearable for games with dark palates (Metro, HL. RE2 Remake) so I have been avoiding games like that.

I would rather game, so I have saved around 400 USD for a new monitor. I will have another 200 soon

I just cant decide on G-sync or Free-sync, since I have a GTX 1080, (so I can use "G'sync on a freesync monitor such as the AROUS monitor)

What would 1440p Variable refresh rate, IPS monitors would you recommenced? Acer monitors are a no go

*forgot to mention, I cant get an RMA or repair from ACER
