New server build... need advice on hardware

I am planning to make a server from pieces bought from Ebay and hope that someone can guide me to a food processor. I plan on using the server to 1, host a minecraft server and 2, have a NAS for my house. I have a low budget, hense the Ebay fun that I will soon endure.

How much storage do you need?

 

Id probalby just buy a full used server, its normally cheaper than getting the parts, and you know its gonna work together.

If you get a server like that, make sure you pick up some drive trays to mount your drives also.
