Fairly certain "current capability" is what the motherboard is able to draw. It just ensures that there's no Power Limit on the CPU current draw. That's a good thing, up to a point. I don't have an Asus board to look in to the setting further.

unless you're hitting current limit, there won't be any improvements. Besides, even when you hit the limit it just throttles, not crashing, so that doesnt affect your stability either.

Turn off all current limits unles you need them for thermal reasons.
