If amd, the use 16gb ddr4 3200, amd doesn't really support 3000, unless you manually want to tune to 2933 or 3200

If you're formally an engineer, avoid responsibility. That's what senior engineers get paid for.

Depending on the use case i would use 32gb its basically a waste, when gaming

depends on use case. If what you're doing uses more than 16GB memory, then 32GB is better because running out of memory slows things down considerably. If you don't, then 16GB is better because it is faster. Note that this is only true when they are both in dual channel mode, so you need 2 8GB sticks or 4 4GB sticks for the 16GB configuration.

This question doesn't make sense.  Do you really need more then 16GB of RAM ?  Do you do content creation or video editing and stuff like that ?  Also 2400Mhz or 3200Mhz you will NOT see a real world performance difference.  Maybe 2fps more in games.  I would get the 32GB kit, but that's just me.  If you feel your going to use more then 16GB then grab the 32GB kit and don't look back.

Trying to help simplify this:

If you already have 16GB of RAM and need more for editing (and can tell you're maxing the 16GB) then go for more.

If you are more concerned about gaming as a 1st priority, get your ram speed above 2800 as your AMD CPU is memory hungry and will take what you can give it for memory frequency (like up to DDR4-3200 as stated above, AMD typically doesn't pull much higher even if the mem kit is rated for more).

Just get 16GB of the fastest speed you can afford... If you were doing work that required 32GB or RAM, you'd have your answer already.

32GB if you want more future proofing and you're actually doing work/editing that needs a lot of ram.

More is always more better ?? unless you need more faster. Lol
