If by width you mean width, that's very narrow. Typically you'll want a desk that can fit 2 monitors, a full size keyboard and a decent size mousepad with a bit of room to spare so you can place the keyboard where you want to sit. 

I'd go for 4-5 ft (120cm+)

 

If you mean width as in depth (which is what 60cm typically is) than that's typical. I like deeper personally, but any deeper it takes up a lot of room compared to other furniture
