Yo,

It's been a while since I've built my PC now and I'm getting the urges to do something else - like an upgrade.

I probably don't NEED an upgrade, but it'd be nice to start saving for something - I miss the PC building/tinkering other than just taking components out to clean them.

One caveat is that I'm pretty skeptical about used components; I'll probably stick with new.

Here's what I got now:

CPU - i7-6700k

CPU Cooler - NZXT Kraken X61

Memory - 16gb 2x8 Corsair Vengeance (boring black ones)

MOBO - ASUS Maximus VIII something or other

SSD's - Samsung 950 pro 512 gb + Samsumg 850 EVO 500gb

GPU - Gigabyte G1 Gaming 980 Ti

PSU - Corsair RM750x

CASE - Phanteks Evolv TG (the silver one)

Lighting - the 7 color 2m led kit you can get with the Phanteks cases. They're bright af

Monitor - ASUS MX27AQ

Mouse - Razer Mamba (I know, I know - it was a Christmas present)

Keyboard - Corsair MX silent keyboard

Fans - stock from the case/cooler

HMU with good ideas. Thanks bros

Things i'd do (totally unneded):

OC the 6700K like a lot.

GPU swap. (i'd say used 1080Ti but you may aswell buy a new 2070... and OC it!)

New mouse, personally i like logitech, mouse pad if you like those. (I don't.)

Corsair fans, maybe the new line with magnetic shenanigans. silent, durable and extra nice.

Second monitor. Not for gaming, just for multitasking. (I like watching streams while I play).

Headset? Senheiser for music, Logitech for gaming. (my personal recommendation).

Bookshelf stereo speakers, Edifier is nice while not super expensive.

If you have really bad taste. RGB the living hell out of your rig.

Thank God I don't have really bad taste, I'd prefer my rig not to look like unicorn puke!

Those were actually good suggestions, thanks dude! I was thinking either GPU or fans originally, but a second monitor would be kind of nice.
