i'm having trouble with a laptop not booting all of the sudden.

The model is ASUS TP300L

This is what happens: when the power button is pressed the indicator leds will light up for a second and that's it.

This is what i tried: remove battery.

Complete discharge the laptop.

Attempted to boot with out the battery and using the charger.

Checked if the display was broken.

i dont know what i can try do solve this, anyone with ideas?

honestly, open it up and replace the cmos battery, that has worked for me more times than I can count.

never mind, that's a 2in1, I know nothing about those. Edit: ok, maybe its not a 2in1, if you already have it open, try unplugging and re-plugging the cmos battery in. see what everybody else says, best of luck.

Yes it's a 2 in 1, I will try to replace the CMOS battery today and see if it helps

I had a similar problem with my NAS a while back... pressing the power button, you would see the light, then the fans would turn for perhaps 1-2 seconds then nothing...

Turned out to be the physical external power supply which had gone caput.  You may want to try another power supply, at least it will rule off another source of the problem if not...
