Help!!!

So i was transferring data from my pc to my hdd and it hung halfway. Stupidly enough i went to unplug the hdd and now its not even getting detected. Anyone knows if i F up big time?

Try plugging the HDD into another computer. Chances are the drive was already failing which is why it stopped the transfer halfway through. Drives wear out over time, so you might need to replace it.

@kirashi yea i plugged in to another computer and same thing happens. Not getting anything even in device manager....

Last thing you can try is booting into a Live Linux USB to see if it shows up in GParted. If not, the drive is probably dead, so restore lost data from backup and replace drive.
