Hello. I have been on various other forums and they all say that I can transfer my current Windows 10 OEM Key from my old laptop (Don't use anymore) to the new PC that I will build in the near future. Is this true and if it is, how can I do this? I clearly do not want to pay $100 for a Windows key...

You have 3 licenses:

 - OEM (the license that Dell, HP, Acer, etc.)

 - OEM System Builder (incorrectly called OEM, which is the license custom computer builder can get for helping selling the built system)

 - Retail (Full box + MS support to get started with the install and using the OS).

Only Retail license is transferable between computers.

If you have either OEM licenses, those are not transferable.
