IO Shield and Motherboard Problem

I have a rog strix b350-f gaming motherboard, and a Cooler Master Masterbox Pro 5 RGB case.

So I have been trying to make my brother a PC, but we’re having problems getting the motherboard aligned with the io shield right, and the HDMI, display port, and top 2 USB 3.0 connectors are the ones that sit higher than the audio.

We have all of the stand ins on the proper spots, but everytime we sit the motherboard flat those connectors mentioned earlier move unevenly.

is this a known issue? Is there something I’m doing wrong?

Any tips would be helpful, videos too.

What happens when you screw in the motherboard properly?

Make sure you don't over-tighten them to get them to line up either.

Even after I screw in the motherboard the IO shield does not line up with the motherboard still.
