Hey everyone, im new to the forum and thought out of any other tech website or forum this would be the place to go to get my issue fixed.  I am so frustrated at this point and have spent the last 2 days trying to get my computer to function normally after it crapped out completely randomly.  I have a I7 6700k on a Z170 deluxe Asus mobo, 16GB of Corsair Dominator memory, a 1080ti, Corsair 1200w PSU, 3 SSDs and 2 HDs, and a H100i cooler for the CPU.  I put this build together over 3 years ago (minus the video card) and it has never had any issues and always worked as expected.  3 days ago II was having an issue installing the newest Nvidia Display driver, it wasn't working manually or through geforce experience, so I checked windows update and it started downloading some things, then BSOD.

From that point on I was stuck in a windows auto repair loop that I couldn't get out of so I decided to wipe the OS drive and just do a fresh stall of Windows 10 from the disk.  For some reason this took me 3 attempts to get it installed with it failing to install windows update 1809 two times and resulting in BSODs after restarting to try and get it to pick up where it would freeze in the update.  I finally got windows 10 fully updated and installed all the correct drivers for the hardware and everything seemed to be fine, but when I started downloading all my apps I realized I had another problem.

Every single app that connects to the internet and pulls down screenshots or news, like the steam store page, or discord channels, or google chrome, only works maybe 50% of the time.  Other times google chrome will timeout trying to load pages and then just randomly loads the page in a second like nothing happened.  Same thing with the other apps, discord wont display videos or photos people have linked, but if I restart it then it will.  The really weird thing is that Edge works perfectly fine 100% of the time, and seems really fast.

I have disabled all my firewall and built in windows virus protection settings to see if those were the issue, but it doesn't seem to have helped.  As far as I can tell everything is up to date, all of my games run flawlessly, even the online mulitplayer games like apex legends, I have no lag or high ping, downloading software also works just fine at the normal download speeds I have always gotten.  Im at a total loss, its a super weird issue and I really hope someone has some idea what could be causing it.  Its like something is blocking certain aspects of other non microsoft apps.

Please Help!!!!!!! I dont want to have to use EDGE!!!!!!!!!!!

Obviously it's because Edge is the superior browser, and if you use anything else you'll have a subpar experience. Edge is the only way to get a true, native HTML experience.
