Is my GPU dying?

Hi,

 

So I upgraded my desktop in December, but for the past week or so I was getting that effect when the screen goes blank for a second or two, like when you are launching or exiting a game. I ignored it but today it happened again and the PC turned itself off. I opened the case and saw that the GPU wasn't screwed so it was wiggling a little bit. I screwed it properly and it's well fixed now, but I'm still getting this effect and the computer even restarted once. I don't see any particular physical change on the GPU or on the PCIe port but could something be broken?
