Hi, I was going to get these, but according to reviews on this page https://www.amazon.co.uk/Phanteks-PH-FF140RGBP_BK01-PH-FF140RGBP_BK01-140MM-RAHM/dp/B074Q4Y16V they malfunction as they block the airflow. I couldn't find any more information about this besides these reviews, so im wondering if anyone has experience with them and could confirm whether they work well or not. I was planning to use them on be quiet! Silent Wings 3 High Speed PWM fans both 140 and 120mm if that makes any difference.

Thank you

The edge of the Halo's may overhang the blades of the fans slightly depending on the fan design but probably will not heavily impact the cooling very much but hard to say exactly without physical testing.

Thanks... That's what someone in the reviews said, "2-6°C increase to stock temps", which seems like a big impact

That will very much depend on the fan as different fans will be affected differently, being about a 5mm border a couple of degrees sounds reasonable. This is common on some RGB fans that have a light border where they will have smaller physical blades even though it's a 120mm or 140mm fan.

Thank you, makes a bit more sense now

Hmm i have thre halos and works fine with nb eloop and phanteks static presure fan and no difrece with temps :)

Same here. I have a mix of 120mm & 140mm Halo Luxe using Corsair ML fans in my case and I haven't noticed any difference in temperatures (mine are on EKWB radiators with one mounted on the case exhaust fan). My son uses the non-Luxe Halo's (all 140mm) with Phanteks PWM fans, again no noticeable change on temperature.
