Reset Windows, Now what?

I was a victim of the Windows October Update the decertified my copy of windows, and I have now reset my computer after I backed it up, but now all I have is this blank screen. What should I do?

This is after a reset? I would try to reinstall it..

 

Does anything else come up at all when you turn it on?

if you backed up, try reinstall again.

Then cry, eat a cookie, and briefly ponder the merits of using macOS or Linux.

I backed it up, and windows said that it installed, but nothing will show up, even if I spam the f8 button when I try to hold the power button to restart it.

Id reinstall Windows again. Id create a new image with the Media Creation tool on an USB drive. Then Id reinstall.

Because Microsoft sucks at validating their product to make sure it works.

I just gave up and got a MacBook Air. I guess I'll come back to windows when they get their poop in a group. And my hard drive died on my PC so fun.

Dont expect that to happen any time soon. I mean Im looking to make the switch to Apple myself because Im sick of MS and its BS.
