So My computer is around 1 year old and I've recently been having some really annoying issues. When I am browsing the web, watching videos, or turning it on and not doing anything, my computer will "Shut off" in a way. All power to my peripherals turns off (lights turn off on mouse and keyboard; no response) and the monitors go blank. The weirdest part is that all of the lights inside the computer are on (hue+), fans are running, and I cannot force it to shut down using the power button. I am forced to unplug it and lose anything I was working on. It does not happen when playing games or working in visual studio. I have access to a power supply tester at my university but have not brought it in yet. I am at a loss at what to do for troubleshooting. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Early units of the G3's had issues. Its possible that you may have a faulty unit.

I didn't know this will it show up if I bring it in and get it tested?

it should. It was an issue with the OCP, or Over Current Protections on the units. If it is faulty, it should trip when testing it.
