Most of the parts I already have and will use for my Threadripper build from my intel build. Everything I currently own should be marked as purchased already, but in case it's not I am only really getting the CPU, Mobo, and PSU. If you have suggestions or just have a comment on the build let me know. I would love to hear from everyone. :)

If you can manage the little extra dough, go up to the AsRock Taichi X399.

Also, don't use that AIO, the Threadripper has a larger IHS and to get the best cooling you need to get a cooler built to cover the whole thing.

If you not agaisnt air cooling, I advise the Noctua NH-U14S.  I have that on both my two Threadrippers.  Runs decently silent (my GPU fans are louder than it) and keeps the temps around 64-65C range with full load across all cores.

Is that with overclocking?

Stock clocks.  Haven't seen a need to OC my 1950X.  Instead, I put more effort into the RAM timings and speeds as the Threadrippers get benefits from that.

Most I seen folks get on average with Threadrippers when overclocking is around 4GHz and a few manage a little more, mine will turbo up to that on its own when using a few cores but not all cores.
