Need a new/refurb laptop

TBryans

My laptop fell off the bed and destroyed the charging port, which I'm sure could be fixed, but alas I'm lazy.

I'm looking for something similar in power (CPU-Z screenshots included), but with newer tech. I do light gaming like League/Crash Bandicoot on it, as it's used for entertainment during my travels for work. Hopefully not breaking the bank, I'd like a 15" screen and hopefully not spend over $800.

Any suggestions, or helpful hints as to what I should buy would be appreciated. I'm not well versed in laptop hardware, I stick mainly to my PC most times.

I would look at craigslist or similar first to see if there are any great deals

Well my main issue is not knowing about laptop hardware at all, which is why I was hoping for some suggestions from people more well versed in the area. Would rather spend the money off a good suggestion rather than get screwed over buying something I know nothing about.

Some more information about what you use it for, battery life, size and your location would be helpful.

Light gaming occasionally, nothing too GPU or CPU intensive. League, some games on steam like crash bandicoot and other “casual” games.

Writing up reports, I use it for traveling work device and Netflix/YouTube.

Battery life doesnt have to be that great, everywhere I'd use it would be close to an outlet or at least have one accessible. Size 15.6  or bigger screen. The laptop itself can be huge for all I care, I have space to store it while traveling.

Also Buffalo, NY.
