I am building a pc for the first time and I was wanting some help on cooling. I think for now I am going to go with the DeepCool MATREXX 55 without the fans. I will be running a Ryzen 2600 w/ stock cooler and GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 GAMING OC 8G. I was wondering if someone could help with budget friendly fans and how to arrange them.

Do you already have the case? It doesn't have great airflow due to the solid front panel.

Where are you shopping / located?

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

No I don’t and I appreciate that I’m located in the US North Carolina. I’m mostly shopping on amazon.

If you're looking for 'moderate fps,' then the 2070 is overkill.

At 1080p it gets,
Metro: Exodus - 60fps
GTA V - 91.5fps
The Witcher III - 116.2fps
Battlefield V - 115.3fps
( Source: https://www.game-debate.com/hardware/index.php?gid=4023&graphics=GeForce%20RTX%202070 )

If you're going for ATLEAST 60fps with ultra graphics, then you made the right choice. Else, you can dial it back a touch.

Also, are you including the monitor, peripherals, &/or speakers in your budget?
I ask because, according to PCPartPicker, you're already at $1,229.82, so it might be time to save what you have and start shopping for those.
( Source: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/CLYcKB )

Lastly, I might get contradictory flak from some people for saying this, but when it comes to case fans, unless you're wanting to overclock and stress your system hard, then it doesn't really matter what kind of case fan you get, so long as your CPU cooler isn't terrible, and the Wraith that comes with Ryzen 2 is definitely NOT terrible, so you're fine.

I just put three cheapo's in the front panel of my case (Cougar Panzer), two on top above the CPU, then the last one in the rear, all only 120mm's, and my PC cools just fine.

So don't stress yourself over them.

Thank you I appreciate that! Do you have any recommendations for keyboard and mouse? Maybe around $150 for both

Honestly, my opinion on peripherals is next to worthless.

I use a Skorpion K2 Mechanical Keyboard - $79 ( https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/page/skorpion-k2/ )
and the Elite Pro M1 131 RGB 8200DPI - $59 ( For some reason there isn't a permanent link to this mouse, but it's in the CyberPowerPC's store )

I very much enjoy both of them and have absolutely 0 plans to look for any others.
*BUT*, the reason my opinion is worthless is that this mouse and keyboard are the only 'aftermarket' peripherals I've ever bought.

The keyboard's switches feel great and the mouse fits my hand perfectly -
But this could be my total ignorance in all things 'peripheral' fooling me.

Aside from others on here or other forums giving their suggestions or preferences, you can always go to a BestBuy or whatever you have in your area and try them out yourself, even if their inventory is obviously smaller than the internet, you'd still be able to get a feel for the type of keys you want (switches, membrane, etc...)

Funny thing is I knew they’re there and have played around with them but never thought to do that lol

The H500 is good. The stock case fans and cooler should be fine already. I recommend seeing how they perform before deciding on whether or not to buy new fans.
