Can I reuse this windows key?

I just reinstalled windows on an old laptop of mine and linked it to my microsoft account. It automatically licensed windows as it recognized the OEM key. Despite the fact that it is an OEM key, would it be possible to use this key elsewhere, such as in a vm?

That's what I thought. Where would I find the actual product key, though? It's not shown under activation settings.

It's in the UEFI firmware then, because I'm using an entirely different drive.

u should be good with the link i sent u but if u do run into trouble which i doubt there is some software that can retrieve vertualy any key for any software however its paid so i wont link it but im sure some googling can help if it comes to it ;)

I was able to retrieve the key, thanks! 

 

Edit: it didn't work on my main PC, which I would expect.

Bel Arc. I use it anytime I migrate purchased software to a new machine. It might even show the windows key too, cant remember.
