Generally no, a BIOS update will not improve framerates, and has a chance of bricking your motherboard if something unexpected happens. I suspect the issue is your CPU. It's not particularly powerful.

well you dont have an exactly great system to game on to begin with, but no, updating your BIOS likely will not help.
