Hey guys,

I am having a bit of trouble with my 650ti in my Media computer. I am trying to watch Netflix and I am getting horizontal screen tearing. I am attempting to watch Netflix on my 40" Sony TV.

I have got the latest version of Nvidia drivers installed. Read my signature if you need to know specs of the computer.

Anyone know any tricks to get it to stop tearing?

If you have the 650ti boost you're lucky because you'll get g-sync (when it eventually comes out) if it's the normal 650ti, I don't think there is a solution.

Unfortunately not... I have a Palit 2gb 650ti. Got it for Xmas...

Does it happen with other things like youtube?

I will just try it now.

force on Adaptive V-sync in Nvidia control panel.

Jut changed it to that. It helped a little but still getting tearing.

Yep, get it on youtube too. I guess that rules out it being a browser issue.

Is it same with gaming?

Not using this computer for gaming at all. I was using the screen tear tests on Youtube to see what settings helped.

No, it looks no where near as bad as that. I am getting screen tearing mainly when there is movement on the screen.

I just changed the windows power setting, you know. Power saving, high performance etc. Changed it to high performance and it seams to of helped a bit. There is still some screen tearing.
