980 sli one card runs 100% while the other runs 20%

Joshyblu2

ive heard that you need to fullscreen for one part for sli to work but when i put games into fullscreen the screen flickers rapidly (i have tried reinstalling the drivers) However in farcry New Dawn i can for some reason run fullscreen (i think the only game i can do that on) i still have the problem of one graphics card runs 100% while the other runs at 20% i also get freezes in games eg when i kill someone sometimes it will freeze, That doesnt happen too often but i figured id mention it. Please help!9023cfbcc499d8e79fd0d799e1b2c161.png.6358f671afef051ee960bf05db5ee680.png5848ac5fe173779ab90e53797823a013.png.dffd3ad3e2c637d14a6bd366975a1f1e.png

Sell both cards and buy a single GPU, so that you don't need to use crappy SLI.

Well if its actually have the box checked for full screen, and not alt+enter'ing it to get full screen it should work all the same.

Run the unigine benchmark at 1440 from the drop box and check full screen and see if it changes.

Also keep the windows manager open in the background. Need to see each cpu core.

Didn't say to reduce res, need to raise it. Need a clean install of a later driver to narrow down software issues.

Did you test both cards by them selves? As in one card in the system running benchmarks? Same thing with both pci slots you are using...

Ok, so you didn't test the other card. Maybe you should start there? As in take one out and test.

If its crashing, you need to address that. Not how much of the gpu is being used.

Quick update ive taken one of the gpus out and its not installing the graphics drivers properly i run the install and select the clean install let it do its thing then when it finishes it still says custom or express installation and on tast manager the gpu isnt coming up. on that note with technically no gpus installed or being used fullscreen doesnt seem to be an issue

So device manager prolly shows it having an issue or still under basic driver.
