Why Task Scheduler *IS NOT* broken and YOU should be using it Right Now!!!

Whether it be Asus's AURA or ZOTAC's FireStorm software, we all encounter those annoying  "Run as Administrator" Pop-ups from time to time whenever we power up our Gaming Rigs to Start the Day :(

But as a user that has bypassed all the frustrating trial'n error stuff and found a 100% WORKING solution, I am Proud to be writing my first ever tutorial on the Web :)

Step No. 1 :

Check out some other tutorials on Task Scheduler in order to have a proper understanding of how S#!t works

I recommend this one from HowToGeek:

https://www.howtogeek.com/138159/how-to-enable-programs-and-custom-scripts-to-run-at-boot/

Step No. 2:

Disable the normal "Run at system startup" option in your desired program

Step No. 3 :

Make sure that the "Run with highest privileges" box is checked

Make sure that the: "Do not start a new instance" option is selected

Also make sure that the "Allow task to be run on demand" box is checked

Now.. Here's the stuff that no one really talks about:

*THIS ENTIRE METHOD actually doesn't work on PC's with multiple user accounts most of the time!

*Make sure that the account used to run the task is your Main One

*Make sure that the account is ACTUALLY an Administrator ?

*DO NOT SELECT "Begin the task: At Startup"

*ONLY USE "Begin the task: At Logon"

*ONLY SELECT "Run only when user is logged on"

*MAKE SURE that the program actually runs under Normal Conditions

 *SELECT "Configure for: Windows 10"

*REMOVE any extra Command Lines if the program Still doesn't properly start

 ***IMPORTANT NOTE***

*MAKE SURE that the program that you are trying to run DOESN'T rely on any extra services in order to work properly, since extra windows services may or may not be delayed to run at Windows Startup*

Please Ignore the stupid rumors about Microsoft admitting that Task Scheduler has not been working for a long time, it's completely fine and IMO should be in better wide spread use!!

Have a great day :)

Actually I wouldn't recommend that, since i have personally used many exploits in the past that take an advantage of that, including MetaSploit

Well i wouldn't either but it is an option.

That said windows 10 these days is so idiot-proof that it usually catches naughty things even if you do say yes to everything. But that's of course no excuse to ignore UAC.
