I will have 3 Corsair LL 140mm RGB fans in my case, do I need to buy the Corsair lighting Controller for them to work with Asus Aura sync with my MB? I will be using a ASUS Maximums XI Hero MB.

the Asus maximus series isnt all that great. they arent bad, but there are way better options

I am pretty sure Asus Aura is not supported by Corsair (neither is MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte Fusion, etc.), you have to use their iCUE software.

The only way to control the RGB of these fans with software is using their Lighting Node Pro (which, as said above, comes included in a two pack of LL140's).

Which basically is just an explanation of how to use some other third party program and people replying it is somewhat janky (color don't match up between Corsair and Asus products, allegedly at the time).
