AIO Fluid temperatures

qqqqqq

What temperatures do you guys experience when idle and under load?

My fluid temperature is roughly 32c idle and 39c under load, are these within reason and will it affect the lifespan of my pump and/or radiator?

I read elsewhere on this forum that below 60c is within spec, however I'm just looking for reassurance.

I'm using an EVGA CLC 240, cooling a de-lidded, copper IHS'd i7-7700k at 4.9GHz on all cores.

That's fine.

As long as it's below 50-60°C there is no worry.

And it's not the pump or rad that's the issue at those temps, it's the fluid itself.

Once you go over that 60°C the protrusion goes up a LOT. What happens is that the tubes expand slightly and water escapes through the tubes. In normal AIO's it happens constantly as well but it's such a small amount it's not a problem. That's also why there are small reservoirs in AIO's.

Thanks for the response, so should 38-42c under constant load be okay in the long run? I'd ideally like to keep the fans on my radiator quite low due to noise, and when at the minimum RPM, those are the temperatures I experience.

Yup, that's perfectly fine. Nothing to worry about.
