Bought prebuilt PC cant install new BIOS for new CPU

I bought a prebuilt PC a few months ago and have decided to upgrade my CPU. My BIOS isn't compatible with my new CPU, I flashed the BIOS and tried to install the new CPU but it still wouldn't work. Contacted a service rep where I purchased my new CPU and this is what I got in response. Does anyone have any solutions so that I can install the right BIOs on my A320m pro-vd plus accompanied by a Ryzen 5 2600x?

Where did u get bios from?

Did the BIOS actually flash?  If it did, then you might have lost your Windows license but it shouldn't stop the new CPU working.

 

If it didn't flash then torment the PC builder to provide you with a newer version that will.  Although I'm not sure if they have any obligation to provide it.

ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

Where did you get the BIOS update that you used? And in addition to that, If you want support, I'd contact your motherboard manufacturer, not CPU retailer. They will be significantly more helpful.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad
