Lack of sharpness on text (24 inch 1080p monitor)

I recently bought a new monitor, is an LG 24MP59G, the 24 inch version, but i feel like the text is a bit more blurry than my old monitor, i upgraded from a HP 21 inch monitor

I think is due to pixel density, is there a way to solve this by software or should i return it?

I did, maybe i am sitting too close to the monitor? i am like 40 centimeters from it

A generic HDMI cable
