New Pumps for Dual Loop System

Currently I am running two very budget P.LOTOR 12V 3000 RPM Pumps for my water cooling loops and I am in need of some recommendations for new pumps.  Loops are set up as follows:

 

CPU Loop

Res to Pump to 480 mm Rad to CPU Block to Res

 

GPU Loop

Res to Pump to 480 mm Rad to GPU1 to GPU2 to Res

 

I guess there are more questions too.  Will a faster pump increase cooling capacity?  Do I need more head?  If I add another 120 mm radiator to each loop will that change the need for flow versus head?  Are there pumps that are good below $70 each?

if you want to go cheaper grab a DDC pump.

@SolarNova I see new D5's listed on places like Amazon and ebay for in the $60's but it doesn't look like a complete pump, I would also need to add a top correct?

Indeed, or u can get pump+top combo's.

Could also look into a pump+res combo unit .. would replace ur current res's obviosly though.

 

DDC pumps are the cheaper option.

As said both the D5 adn DDC pumps are very well regarded, you may want to consider adding a heatsink to the DDC as they can get quite warm. In terms of performance either pump will have no issue with even more rad space or as a single pump to run that entire loop by itself.

 

For speed you can get a few degrees of difference but generally I recommend to set it at a speed that you feel comfortable with in terms of noise and leave it be.

@W-L and @SolarNova Thank you for the advice.  I am looking into both types of pumps now and will hopefully get something in my possession by next weekend to make this happen.  My current pumps run at about 2000 RPM most of the time, they really only speed up when benchmarking.
