Building A Gaming PC

fireandy500

So I have been on the forum once before to see what people thought of my build. I put some more thought into it and just wanted to see if people had any recommendations on my parts choices. My budget is around 800 bucks and I already have all the peripherals, as well as a windows install disc. I plan on playing games such as Monster Hunter World, Destiny 2, League of Legends and Rocket League all of which will be on a 1080p 60hz monitor. I'm looking to get back into streaming and wanted to be sure that this computer can handle it. This will also be my first PC build so any tips will be greatly appreciated. I'm also going to be ordering everything from amazon since I don't want to worry about all the rebates and such.

Looks good my friend.  I would personally pay a bit more and go for a gold PSU and about 500watts.  No need for 600watts as your usage while gaming will be 300 watts to 400watts maximum which is rare with your config and what not.

Asus Sabertooth x79 / 4930k @ 4500 @ 1.408v / Gigabyte WF 2080 RTX / Corsair VG 64GB @ 1866 & AX1600i & H115i Pro @ 2x Noctua NF-A14 / Carbide 330r Blackout

Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface / KRK Rokits 10" / Sennheiser HD 650 / Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse & G915 Linear & G935 & C920 / SL 88 Grand / Cakewalk / NF-A14 Int P12 Ex
AOC 40" 4k Curved / LG 55" OLED C9 120hz / LaCie Porsche Design 2TB & 500GB / Samsung 950 Pro 500GB / 850 Pro 500GB / Crucial m4 500GB / Asus M.2 Card

So other than a 80+ gold I should be all set. Something I am not sure about is the cables to hook everything up. Would I need to buy any extra for my extra hard drive or would that all come with the power supply/ motherboard

The PSU will come with all power cables.  As for SATA cables it comes with the motherboard and most hard drives, so no worries.

Nice build.

You still have $50 spare, why not up the SSD to 256 and HDD to 3TB.

450watt should be fine.
