Will I benefit from mantle?

I have a Radeon 7950 and a i5 4670K, I still don't really understand mantle, but will I benefit from it?

We don't know.

 

AMD has not really given us much info and we probably won't know until it is released.

if you are playing games that support the it then yes.

 

right now there are some games upcoming that will support mantle

 

Battlefield 4 (mantle update soon)

EA will most probably integrate Mantle in to Frostbite engine and crytech will do the same to their cryengine

We won't really know until it comes out and you test it for yourself and tell us but my guess would be yes.

Yes, 5 percent is a conservative estimated increase in FPS.
