Hello everyone !

So, I have upgraded from my standard Delta PSU 500w to a Corsair RM850x.

The main reason is that I am trying to fix son GPU coil whine and get a more quiet PC.

Now the problem is that from my Delta PSU I had this 4 pin cable going into my case for my LED.  You can see the connection in the case in the upper left corner.

But from my new Corsair PSU, I can not find an output that fits ? Any solutions ? Can I get a cable that fan run it from the motherboard ?

Floppy connector?

The RM850x should come with a Molex > Floppy adapter cable. Should look like this:

I will try to get a better picture, but the floppy disc connector does not seem to fit. as you see, they 4 pins does not look a like. on the floppy disc connecter there is a dot under it.

What case is it? If you check the manual for the case it should tell you what power connector is required.

Anyone know a cable that could solve it ?

We need to know what system you're talking about, the Components in use, Pics of the Motherboard would also be helpful.

And Pics from the PSU as well.

MOBO Corsair z370

PSU Corsair RM850x

I have a dedicated LED output from the MOBO.  And the plug in the case is a 4-pin, that fits the plug in the pic.

So my question is if it is possible to get a cable from the MOBO LED to the case ? Or another solution

Pretty sure it's not a Corsair z370.  ;)

Since you said your original PSU was a Delta, I'm guessing this was a Dell or HP or something of the sort?

Argh yeah, have been looking at too much corsair for too long ?

It is a MSI Z370-a pro !

It is a prebuild MSI Codex XE

The PSU that it came with is a Delta 550W, I can not track it down anywhere online. Model no. GPS-550Lb H, picture attached. None of the ones I find looks exactly like it. But that is not the case here.

It has a special output for the Case LED, guessing it is costum made for the Codex cases.

Now I am just looking for a new solution to light up the Case. Because none of the cables that came with my Corsair RM850x fits.

Your new PSU will not help.

If a GPU has Whine, it has whine.

PSU can only amplify it slightly.

But the whine will always be there. You have to get a new GPU for it to be quieter...

...wich looks like it could be a decent PSU.

But Delta has everything in evers range, from meh to awesome ultra edition, depending on what you want to pay.

The PSU was fine, but it was loud .. also one of the reasons of why I changed it.

But as you can see, it had an output for the LED, which my new one doesn't..

It was made for that case.  You're not going to find another PSU that has the same connection.  Best thing to do is to figure out the pinout and make your own connector.
