RTX with EKWB Terminal X4

Hey,

I am building a watercool system with 4 RTX 2080 Ti. Ordered EKWB Terminal X4: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-fc-terminal-x4-plexi

However, just noticed it is marked as incompatible with RTX waterblocks (I use https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-vector-rtx-2080-ti-rgb-nickel-plexi). I took it apart and find the RTX waterblock uses M4-25mm screws and the oring is integrated.

Thus, is it OK for me to buy M4-28mm screws and 15mm-1mm oring from EKWB and continue my build? What's the real risk here? I measured and it seems I can use some extenders and go without the terminal for my watercool setup. However, the EKWB's terminal does look nicer in the case.

Thanks!

The risk is that it leaks. As long as you use the proper o-rings, and leak test, you should be fine.. Just don't complain to EK if it leaks

Thanks! I got the M4-28mm screws and print. Installed and passed leak test. The rig is working fine since yesterday.
