G-Sync limits fps to 60

When I enable G-Sync on my U24E590 my games are capped to 60fps unless I run the game in exclusive fullscreen mode. How can I get uncapped fps in borderless windowed mode? Nvidia control panel is set to full & windowed mode.

Also this is a recent problem, I had uncapped fps before.

It's not GSync capping it, you'll either have VSync enabled or a frame cap. Check the game and Nvidia 3D settings for VSync.

Also go to graphic properties, (right click on desktop, display options, advanced etc)

Windows for what ever reason sometimes resets my graphic adaptor in windows to 60 hz, even though nvida control panel says 144.

Both of these scenarios work:

- Fullscreen + G-sync = uncapped fps 

- Borderless windowed + G-Sync off = uncapped fps

But the combination of borderless windowed mode and G-Sync on will just randomly cap my fps to 60 and I don't know why.
