HAF Stacker

Hello all! This isn't a brand new build, but rather, a brand new case for my current system.

Specs:

Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth 990fx

CPU: AMD FX 8320

Video Card: MSI TwinFrozr III 7850 (Factory OC)

Ram: Kingston Blue 8gb x 2

Heatsink: H70

PSU: Not sure the brand, 850 watts, Semi-Modular.

Case: HAF Stacker 935

SSD: Kingston 120gb SSD

HDD: Random HDD from a Dell PC, 1TB capacity, 7200 RPM

Random CD Reader.

Pictures!

Let me preface these pictures with some explanation of what was done, why it was done, and future plans.

Current system reasoning:

Currently, my hardware is a tad odd if you ask me. The reason for this, is because I didn't truly build my system on my own the first time around.

I started with a Dell tower, and I wanted to change the cooler on the system into something more beefy (an all in one liquid cooler), however, I quickly found that it didn't fit...  (also, the case was terrible.)

I bought a new case from Tigerdirect, and tried to switch my components. Great idea right? Ideally yes, however, then my power supply didn't fit in the new case... Trouble trouble...

So I bought a new power supply, which was a decent purchase, semi-modular, a tad overkill, but a nice power supply...

However, I got a lemon. As soon as it was turned on, it surged on and off very quickly, and fried my motherboard.

Now, being big into online gaming, I had things scheduled and needed to get back on my feet, so I went with the advice of the salesman (bad idea), and got the parts that are listed above (minus the case of course.)

Have you heard of cable management?
Yes! However, there are a few reasons for my terrible cables.
One, the 8 pin doesn't reach if it goes behind the motherboard...
Two, I plan to do custom sleeving sometime in the near future. (Along with some extensions)

Future Plans? (Aka, why such a big case?)
If you've seen Linus' video, you'll know he calls this case "a budget liquid coolers wet dream."
For this exact reason, is why I got the case.
I plan to liquid cool my build sometime in the summer.

So why then, did you get the case now, you might ask.
I'll answer you, well placed question.
I got the case now, because one of my friends was in love with my old case (A Cooler Master Storm Trooper), and paid me nearly what I paid for it.

and without further questioning, the pictures. :)

Case right out of the box, and put together.

Next, I tore it apart, and started painting.

And, what I consider to be one of the parts I worked hardest on

Some parts changed out:

Changed to an EVGA 780 Classified

And 1866mhz 2x4gb Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM

Looking forward to seeing this. I honestly have no experience with the Stacker, so I'm excited to see what you come up with!

PPIIIICCCTUUURRRREEEESSS!!! No but srsly i like this case and I think its very innovative.

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only a GTX 1080, just a single 1080, where my glorious PC once stood....

For that is all I need, For the Emperor of Man, Jen-Hsun Huang, protects. We march for Nvidia, and we shall know no fear!

What are you planning on doing with the stacking concept? Expansion for water-cooling later down the line?

Update!

A few new parts are on their way!

Including:

EVGA 780 3gb Classified

8gb DDR3 Corsair Vengeance Pro Ram (in Blue.) 1866 mhZ

and some fans :D

I also got tools for sleeving some cables, so I'm going to try sleeving with paracord.

Also, I realized there are no pictures of the internals, I'll fix that when I update.

Better pictures coming today (or at worst, tomorrow), sorry for the long delay. My hard drive crashed, and I had to fix that issue before I trusted my computer with my pictures. :)
