rtx 2060 or rtx 2070

hi guys i have a pc with the specs below and i want to upgrade my gpu, im in a situation where i can pick either a "beefy" rtx 2060 meaning asus rog model etc. OR get a rtx 2070 zotac mini. Which is a better choice ?

Mobo: Gigabyte Z370P D3
CPU: Intel I5 8600K
Cooling: CoolerMaster MasterLiquid 120mm
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 3000Mhz 2x4gb
GPU: RADEON SAPPHIRE 7970 VAPOR-X 3GB (old)
PSU: Corsair CX750M
Boot drive: Kingston SSD 120GB
Plus 1tb HDD for games

The RTX 2060 is definitely the better value. What resolution and framerate are you trying to achieve?

@ThatFlashCat 1080p 144hz as a main gaming monitor and in the future one more (1080p not sure if 144hz or 60 not sure yet) Plus I will add another 8gigs of ram on the rig in future
