Storage for games and photoshop

eperdos

Hello. I already have an ssd 500gb 850evo and 2 hdd (1tb and 500gb) but hdd are old and I would rather not use them anymore.

I would buy new mobo (x470 asus prime pro or gigabyte ultra gaming).

Some say game install should be on different partition than OS.

Also photoshop scratch disk should be on different partition than OS?

My personal habit is to move all user folder from c partition to another one and to keep all my files on separate partition/drive.

I would like a big hdd for storage/archive/media streaming to tv.

So, what storage setup would you advise?

It might be, but I'm pretty sure there's a way you can actually configure it to merge multiple drives.

Thing is my hdd are really old (12 years and 8 years) are kind of noisy and my pc is a silent one. So one hdd has to be enough (that's why I said a large hdd, like a 4tb).
